Clat Entrance Exam syllabus 2024

                                        We extend our warm greetings to all prospective participants aiming to undertake the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) in 2024. The Consortium of National Law Universities has outlined a structured syllabus catering to both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This syllabus encompasses five crucial sections: English Language, General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques, and Logical Reasoning.

                                        At the postgraduate level, the CLAT syllabus draws inspiration from the subjects covered in the CLAT LLM curriculum. This harmonious integration ensures a coherent and comprehensive evaluation of candidates' legal acumen and aptitude.

                                        As the anticipation for CLAT 2024 builds, we wish to inform you that the activation of the Common Law Admission Test will align with the forthcoming release of application forms and official notifications. Your esteemed applications for the examination can be duly submitted subsequent to this event.

                                         Bearing in mind the proposed timeline, we anticipate the initiation of the CLAT application process for the year 2024 tentatively in the months of July to August in the year 2023. We strongly recommend that individuals aspiring to participate in CLAT 2024 closely monitor the updates and particulars contained within the forthcoming document.

                                          In this article, we intend to provide a comprehensive discourse on the intricate details of the CLAT syllabus. We urge all candidates to meticulously review the subject-specific syllabi, enabling an informed and strategic initiation of their preparation regimen.

CLAT 2024 Exam Pattern

The CLAT 2024 exam pattern can be expected to be the same as previous year as there are no changes updated since last year. Previous year also, there was no change in CLAT exam pattern.

  • Mode :-                       Offline mode (pen paper-based mode)

  • Question type :-          Objective type

  • Number of  questions :-          CLAT UG – 150 questions
  •                                                    CLAT PG – 120 questions

  • Total marks :-                     UG CLAT- 150 marks
                                                      CLAT PG – 120 marks

  • Marking scheme :-           +1 will be rewarded for each correct answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

  • Medium of Exam :-      English
CLAT 2024 Syllabus
                            It is important for candidates appearing for the CLAT exam to understand the syllabus so that they can appear for the exam with complete preparation.
